I love teaching Kindergarten! I have a love of learning. I want to pass that love and passion on to the future leaders of our communities and nation. I believe that positive role models who can reach out to children have a duty to do so. I am always trying to find ways to better myself as a person and a teacher. I believe that every child deserves to be nurtured, groomed, and prepared socially, emotionally, and academically. I have the skills, drive, and the compassion to make these goals possible. I am excited to share this journey with your family.

"Always wear a smile.  The gift of life will then be yours to give."  by Rabbi Nachman Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child's life.  I am very excited about our year together.  :) September  (Memorization for September) September is the month when summer turns to fall. Vacation time is over.  It's back to school for all. Even though I'm sad, how fast the summer ends. I'm really glad I'll get the chance to meet up with my friends. Teddy Bear Picnic Kindergarten will be having a Teddy Bear Picnic on Friday.  Children may bring a "Teddy" or any other stuffed animal to school on that day.  Mrs. Harken will provide our Teddy treats! Uniforms All students must wear socks.  Children in Kindergarten are NOT required to wear a belt.  Ivy Hall t-shirts are the required dress for Friday's. Homework Folders Homework folders will be sent home each day Monday-Thursday.  Please sign your child's homework sheet and return daily.
