| I love teaching Kindergarten! I have a love of learning. I want to pass that love and passion on to the future leaders of our communities and nation. I believe that positive role models who can reach out to children have a duty to do so. I am always trying to find ways to better myself as a person and a teacher. I believe that every child deserves to be nurtured, groomed, and prepared socially, emotionally, and academically. I have the skills, drive, and the compassion to make these goals possible. Welcome to All Day Kindergarten! My name is Whitney Harken and I am excited to get to work with your family this year. Kindergarten is essential in the academic, social, and emotional growth for children. Together, we will explore new ideas, listen to new stories, and sing new songs, all in an attempt to peak their interest and to develop a love of learning that will set the tone for your child’s academic experience. The following supply list has some items that should be kept at home until they need to be replaced or rotated. It would be a good idea to purchase these items now while they are on sale. Where requested, please be sure to be brand specific as they provide for the best results.
