Miss Willden's Second Grade

Miss Nichole Willden

My favorite part about teaching is what happens after the information has been presented; it is the excitement of watching as a child grasps an elusive concept, learning something new to him that he will use for the rest of his life. My favorite thing to see is a young mind blossoming with new knowledge.

As a teacher, my goal is to foster a love for learning in each child, in a hope that they will continue their education throughout the remainder of their lives. I like children to gain a confidence in their own abilities. For that reason I allow them opportunities to teach each other, to take an active role in their schooling community, and to continue their education beyond the formal classroom.

I hope to share my love for learning with a classroom full of enthusiastic students!

Earth Rotates and Revolves

Rotate means to spin around
but stay in one place.
Revolve means to move around another object is space.
The Earth can rotate in one day- just one.
