The best way to teach children is to get them excited about what they are learning. Second graders are still at an age where school is fun, and they want to be a part of the classroom. I want to harness their natural energy and enthusiasm, and direct it towards reaching goals, enhancing imaginations and developing minds. The classroom goal for this year is not only for each child to understand each subject, but to master them all. Then, after they completely understand each one, a natural excitement will grow from their accomplishments, and this will fuel continued enthusiasm for learning. I am so excited to be a part of all the learning and adventures that will be going on at Ivy Hall this year!
