I am so excited to have been invited to teach first grade at Ivy Hall and to be a part of your child's life. I am anticipating a wonderful year of learning and new experiences. The emphasis in my class will be to strengthen each child in the knowledge that they can be or accomplish any goal they set forth to do by working hard and not giving up. I know with your help and support each child can and will accomplish this.

May 19 -- Spring BBQ tonight - 5:30-7:30

Can you believe school is almost over for this year! It has really gone by fast. Mrs. James and I have loved having you in our class. There is no homework this week , but here are some items to do for the week. 1. Mon.- regular uniform 2. Tues.- Red/white/ blue day-- Read-a- thon 3. Wed. - Water day- wear suit under clothes, bring towel 4. Thurs.- Field Day- sports dress 5. Fri. - Last 1/2 day - Free Dress Book Report is due today Mon. May 19- Oral book of choice Tues. May 20 Read a Thon in afternoon- Bring books(label with your name)- pillows, blankets and healthy snacks- Ex. fruit snacks, carrots- etc.  No drinks! SPRING BBQ TONIGHT - REMEMBER FOOD ASSIGNMENT
